Live Music – Kendra Glenn
Friday March 28th
Native of Chicago IL, Kendra Glenn, the product of a musical family, realized her gift of singing at the tender age of 10 when she began singing in the church choir.
Throughout her 23 years of performing, she’s been a studio session singer for Andy Kotz productions and the well-known Pachyderm studios. She’s worked with several local bands here in the cities as well, which currently includes her own band KGB (Kendra Glenn Band). She’s worked with Nicholas David Mrozinski and the feeling band (3rd winner up on the Voice) R-Factor formerly Rupert’s Orchestra, Brian Kinney Band and countless others. She has also sang backgrounds for National recording artist such as: Scott Holt, former blues guitarist for Buddy Guy, Prince’s protégés, Sue Ann Carwell, also Marvin “One” Gunn member of The Mazarati Band, Joaquin “Quino” Whinny from the Reggae band Big Mountain, Jimi Behringer former guitarist to Prince, Laura Brannigan, Jeff Lorber and Bobby Caldwell, and Mr. Andre Fischer Grammy award winning writer and producer for Rufus and Chaka Khan, and Senior VP for MCA records. She’s also opened for National recording acts such as Blues sensation Bernard Allison, Rolls Royce, Dazz Band, and Cameo. Kendra has certainly left an indelible mark as being one of Minneapolis’ top female vocalists!

John Della Selva is a Twin Cities icon. John’s style of Jazz/Rock/Blues has been a major influence to guitarists in the Minneapolis scene. Umbra hosts complimentary live music every single Friday and Saturday evenings.
Geoff Jones is a singer who blends jazz and soul stylings wrapped in a smooth baritone. As a former member of the Grammy Award-winning group Sounds of Blackness Geoff has sung on numerous recordings, performed live and on TV including The Tonight Show, Soul Train, and the NAACP Image Awards, and with luminaries such as Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Dolly Parton and Elton John. He’s also the character voice of John Henry in Disney’s acclaimed animated short feature.

Easter Brunch
Sunday April 20th
Celebrate Easter with a thoughtfully curated brunch featuring two buffet options, each designed to bring fresh flavors and holiday favorites to your table.
The Continental Buffet is available from 8 AM to 2 PM and offers a lighter selection of breakfast items, including fresh fruit platters, yogurt parfaits (both vegan and regular), assorted pastries, steel-cut oatmeal with classic toppings, a grilled vegetable platter, and avocado toast points.
The Deluxe Brunch Buffet is available from 10 AM to 2 PM and includes everything from the continental selection along with additional offerings. Guests can enjoy mixed green salad with champagne vinaigrette, cucumber, radish, and red onion; spinach salad with apple cider vinaigrette, roasted apples, butternut squash, and pepitas; and caprese salad. The buffet also features hard-boiled eggs prepared in three styles—classic, guacamole, and curried egg salad—along with scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and chive. Eggs Benedict is served on an English muffin with Compart Duroc ham and béarnaise sauce. Additional savory selections include creamy Gouda hash browns, bacon and pork sausage, and biscuits with gravy. A variety of desserts, including assorted tarts, cakes, petit fours, and Easter candies, complete the meal.
A kids’ menu is available for children 12 and under at an all-inclusive price of $14, with access to either buffet. The deluxe buffet is available to children starting at 10 AM.
Buffet service is available exclusively until 2 PM, after which the bar menu will be offered. Dinner service will be available as usual.

Since moving to Minneapolis in 2005, Zacc Harris has become one of the Twin Cities’ top jazz guitarists, earning the title of Best Jazz Artist in 2017 from City Pages. He leads and performs in various acclaimed projects, including Atlantis Quartet, Zacc Harris Group, American Reverie, and Zacc Harris Trio.
Harris has toured the US and UK, playing venues like London’s Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. Praised for his lucid sound and well-crafted solos, Jazz Improv Magazine calls his playing “rich-sounding,” while Cadence Magazine likens his work to John McLaughlin. As co-leader of Atlantis Quartet, he has released five acclaimed albums, with JazzTimes hailing the group’s style as “startlingly original.”

Joe Cruz has developed a vast array of styles over his 40 year career. He plays anything from solo acoustic guitar to swinging with a jazz combo and picking mandolin in a bluegrass band or exploring his Latin roots on Cuban trés and Puerto Rican cuatro.
Together, the group will perform original work, favorites off their respective records, and familiar tunes, with a few surprises along the way.
