Before getting his first guitar, Paul would practice slide with a 17mm deep well socket on his mom’s broom. In the late ‘80s, Paul moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He became one of the most sought after guitarists in town, playing and touring with such notables as Jack McDuff, Willie Walker, Big John Dickerson, and Billy Holloman.”
