She’s definitely the “real deal”. Throughout her 15+ years of performing she’s worked with several local bands here in the Twin Cities which currently includes her own band KGB (Kendra Glenn Band). She’s worked with The Jam Factory Band, The R-Factor, Maxx band, Vic Volare, Brian Kinney band, Nicholas David (3rd winner up on the Voice) and countless others. She has also sang backgrounds for National recording artist such as: Scott Holt, blues guitarist for Buddy Guy, Joaquin Quino McWhinney lead singer of Big Mountain, Sue Ann Carwell a protégé to Prince Roger Nelson, and Mr. Andre Fischer Grammy award-winning writer and producer for Rufus and Chaka Khan, Senior VP for MCA records.

Kendra’s voice has captured and enthralled audiences since first coming on the scene some 15 years ago. Kendra has certainly left an indelible mark as being one of Minneapolis’ top female vocalists!

Ginger Commodore is one of the premier jazz vocalists in the upper Midwest. Whether she’s performing with her own quartet (GCQ) or as a member of the internationally known vocal jazz quartet “Moore By Four”, Ginger is one singer you will not forget! Julius Collins is a renowned singer in Minneapolis. Managed by Prince when he first moved to the city from Atlanta, his band Black Julius emerged on the scene with a blend of rock and funk. Next up was the formation of the phenomenal group, Greazy Meal, which was comprised of some of the best musicians in Minneapolis. They packed the local clubs to capacity and formed a following that is still dedicated to the music and energy they created on the scene.

Tommy Barbarella has made his mark behind the scenes composing, touring, recording and performing with Prince, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Art Garfunkel, Ziggy Marley, and Love and Rockets – to name but a few. His first forays into the Minneapolis music scene came at a time when the ‘Minneapolis sound’ was exploding across the international airwaves in the 1980s. In a music club in downtown Minneapolis, he was introduced to mega-producer Jimmy Jam Harris and other members of The Time. This eventually led to a 10-year stint as the keyboardist for Prince and the New Power Generation – a band considered by many to be Prince’s finest line-up. With Prince and the NPG, Tommy toured the world several times over and made numerous TV appearances in the US and Europe.

Formed in 2014, BZ3 Organ Trio is carrying on a long Twin Cities tradition – the timeless sound of the classic organ trio.  Organist Brian Ziemniak says, “The Twin Cities has had many great organists through the years – Bobby Lyle, Jack McDuff, Billy Holloman, and Steve Cherewan to name a few – and we’re just trying to follow in that tradition of playing great soul and jazz music with the lean, mean lineup of an organ trio.”  Guitarist Troy Norton and drummer Kevin Washington add considerable dynamic muscle to the band, insuring a modern take on a classic sound.

Debbie Duncan may be considered the upper Midwest’s “best-kept-musical secret”, but she has become a local legend and treasure in her home of Minneapolis. Her personality, vitality, and versatility all contribute to that fact. She is a terrific entertainer, and this is certainly part of her appeal. Professional saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, educator, arranger, mentor, and music producer. Walter Chancellor Jr. has been a mainstay in the Twin Cities contemporary Jazz and R&B music scene for the past 25 years.

Walter performed and recorded with Prince, earning him a Double Platinum Record for his participation in Prince’s “Emancipation” CD in 1996.

Additionally, Walter has performed, recorded and has shared the stage with such artists as Chaka Khan, Maceo Parker, Candy Dulfer, Chance Howard (Prince, Candy Dulfer & Brian Culbertson), Brown Mark Mazarati, Musiq Soulchild, Larry Graham, the late Louis Johnson, Cameo, The Pointer Sisters, Bobby Lyle, The Platters and Producer greats as Chris “Big Dog ”Davis, Andre Fischer and Jack Douglas just to name a few.
